PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to DC (Direct Current) converter.
Primarily used in track power applications with controllers that have PWM output. While PWM is perfectly harmless to motors, the electronics in some locos don't like it (e.g. Piko with sound). Typical symptom is flickering headlights.
Rated for 24V, 7A.
Optional connectors:
Heavy duty barrier strip; use #6 blue spade lugs with 16-14 ga. wire. Most suitable for use with TrackSide R/C and/or outdoor wiring.
Screw Terminals; use 18-16 ga. wire directly. Slightly smaller package for on-board or indoor use.
