​RailBoss 4 - Multi-Train Feature

Multi-Train allows you to run 2 or more trains on the same loop with automatic train separation. All of the trains will make stations stops on a random basis; i.e. sometimes they stop, sometimes they don't. You can program the desired stop percentage. All trains communicate with each other to announce their present location on the loop (as determined by two track magnets). When they get too close to each other, the RailBoss 4 logic takes action to get them back in sync and maintain spacing.

 Jeff is running two trains with four automated station stops on his dog bone layout. Station stops are set for 100%. Jeff is not using Multi-Train, since it is really designed for only one station stop. But he says as long as the trains are running at approximately the same speed, they maintain proper spacing.
