Manual Speed Control -
A PWM (pulse-width-modulation) motor driver designed specifically for large scale locomotives. Turn the knob to set the speed you like. It doesn't get any easier than that! Reverse direction can be achieved using an external DPDT switch (not included).

Select Input voltage range:
7-20V for 3-4 cell Lithium-Ion (11.1V,14.8V)
15-28V for 5-6 cell Lithium-Ion (18.5V,22.5V)

Manual Operation
Set the speed setting full CCW (counter clockwise). Turn on the power. Adjust the speed setting as desired (1 turn adjustment). Full CW is maximum speed. If reverse operation is needed, you can connect a separate DPDT switch (available separately) in the motor circuit. There is no gradual acceleration when power is applied, so gear protection is up to the operator. Just start out from a stop and turn it up. Running speed can easily be set within a few feet of track (you won't have to chase it).
